Spill

The Spill code

Spill works because women show up for each other, openly and in good faith. A few simple commitments keep it that way. By joining, you agree to these.

Who Spill is for

Spill is a space for women, inclusive of trans women. You join by affirming you belong here. We don't ask for proof of identity. We ask for good faith.

Show up

Once you're matched, book your coffee and turn up. If something comes up, give your match notice. A no-show quietly costs someone their coffee that month. Repeated no-shows without notice mean sitting out a round.

Keep it confidential

What's shared in a coffee stays there, unless you both agree otherwise. That goes double for anything about your companies, clients, or work in progress. Treat each other's candour as a gift, not gossip.

Don't record without consent

No recording the call, no screenshots, and nothing from the conversation shared elsewhere without the other person's explicit yes.

Leave the sales pitch at home

Spill is for connection, not conversion. No pitching, no recruiting spam, no working the contact for leads. If a working relationship grows naturally, lovely, but that is their choice, not your opening move.

Be respectful

Different industries, levels, and views are the whole point. Disagree well, listen more than you broadcast, and assume good intent.

Respect a no

A coffee is one conversation. If someone would rather not continue beyond it, that is a complete and perfectly good answer. No chasing.

If something feels off, tell us

One bad match is not the norm. If a conversation crossed a line, or just did not work, report it and we will handle the rematch. Email us at info@spilltheteaai.com.

Spill is built on trust. Look after it, and it looks after all of us.
